App Lock Passcode

Hallo,

Unfortunately, the app saves the password for App Lock, which I have let me enter by another person. This allows me to simply change the app Lock settings again. See the attached screenshot. What can I do?

Good morning, Simeon. Thank you for the question.

It looks like you're running into an issue as a result of Google's Autofill service that is native on anything running Android 8 and higher. Thankfully, I think there's a solution for you--namely, disabling Autofill.

To do that:
  1. Swipe down on the notification shade from the home screen.
  2. Select the 'Settings' icon (looks like a cog.)
  3. Scroll down to and tap on 'System.'
  4. Tap on 'Languages & input.'
  5. Expand the 'Advanced' menu by tapping on it.
  6. Select 'Autofill service.'
  7. Select 'None.'

Once that's done, you'll need your Accountability Partner to change the App Lock code. I think that should get you squared away.

I hope that's helpful, Simeon. Let us know, will you?
