Any Smart TV updates from Covenant Eyes?

Curious if there is any rumors that Covenant Eyes will develop a Smart TV filter?  Right now, my Smart TV is filtered via a DNS service; but that falls short due to plurality of apps poorly labeled as 'All Ages' but are really mixed content (aka.. adult content).  Or maybe an official guide/recommendation from C.E. on how users should approach Smart TV's?

jakael02,

No rumors to report. Our focus remains the four major operating systems (Android, iOS, Mac, Windows). I appreciate you asking and I also want to applaud you for using a filter at the DNS level. Not everyone is comfortable doing that, but it's certainly a helpful setup.

Typically, when we are asked about Smart TVs, we advise people to check the device for parental controls. This article also gives parents some food for thought: https://protectyoungeyes.com/how-to-protect-kids-smart-tv-parental-controls/

Thanks again for asking. Keep being pro-active!

Thanks for the reply.  I understand the Smart TV would be a unique challenge to cover.  My best recommendation to others... don't buy one.  But if you already have one, filter at the DNS level (which is a start).  Thanks again!
