Android update blocking apps

My son has not been able to use Instagram or Twitter Apps on Android phone since June update. I chatted with CE operative who tried to fix this with the allow list, but it didn't work. Every few minutes I have to re-grant him permission on his phone and override the block
Am I to understand that there will not be any customization of  filtering on phones under the new CE update? Does he need to avoid using twitter and instagram apps and access via website on his phone?

Do you see a Covenant Eyes Block Page inside the Twitter App? Is that where you bypass it?

The reason I ask is that I had a similar issue with the Amazon App on Android but do not have it on my iPhone. I never did figure it out even though I whitelisted every variation of https://android.mShop.amazon.com I could think of. And similar to your situation Amazon.com in the browser worked fine.

I suspect the Twitter App is trying to reach url and is being denied access. It may be an obscure or interesting nknown url.

Just as a fellow CE user, you wouldn’t have an iPhone that you could test the behavior on?
