Android/Nexus 7/ Beta: VPN constantly needs to be restarted

I frequently am prompted by CE to "restart VPN service" - at which point I can click "Restart", but it seems odd that it's not an auto-restarted process. Is something incorrect about my installation?

Me too! I have a Galaxy S4 and the VPN service is always crashing ever since I had to force update to the newest beta version. Also it seems to block ALL 4G access to the internet... which is terrible if I am travelling.

Me too. I?m on a Google Nexus 5 with Android 5.0.1 It can take 10 times of restarting before it stays on for a while.  FInally today I got a "covenant eyes is not responding, do you want to close it" and I gratefully said yes and have had some peace and been able to use my phone for a few hours.

Before that I tried uninstalling -- since it was making my phone unusable - but it kept saying invalid code about the uninstall code it provided when I logged in.

You are lucky to get to try to uninstall. The activate VPN screen keeps coming up on my nexus 6. Doesn't matter how many times I tap the button it just keeps coming back. I can't open any apps. I can get the home screen for about 3 seconds and that's it. It finally stopped when I got an incoming call but even then I had to click activate VPN 2 more times before it would let me answer the call.

Hey Tim. We have released a few beta versions since that one, the most recent is can be found here. The VPN part of the app has been removed (temporarily) while we continue to smooth out the rough edges, in short, it should work much better for you

You can always check this thread for the most recent updates.
