Android filtering soon?

I recently joined Covenant Eyes due to a child who is continually getting into trouble with internet searches.  Unfortunately without the ability to filter on Android devices 75% of the ways for him to get on the internet in our home are still left unprotected with this service.

Is there ANY hope of adding filtering in the near future and if not, could you please recommend a filtering service I can use in the meantime?  I want to keep my child safe - but Covenant Eyes isn't going to be enough for my family until this changes.

I've used Covenant Eyes reporting feature in tandem with Trend Micro's Mobile Security & Antivirus. It is an antivirus program, but also has a device wide filtering service. I believe it is around $30 a year, but I may be mistaken on price.
