I am a new student at SCF, and have signed up for online classes. The college uses Canvas URL: http://scf.instructure.com/ for coursework, syllabus, homework, tests, etc. I use Internet Explorer 11 Version: 11.51.14393.0. I would use Google Chrome, but SCFConnect and Chrome don't seem to get along. Anyway, I have been using Canvas for a while now, and last Thursday got on to do my Title IX, etc. But last night and now today, I get an error page whenever I click the link. The tab is titled 401 Authorizaion Required with this said on the page:
This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.Apache/2.2.3 (Red Hat) Server at sso.scf.edu Port 80
I contacted SCF, and they said it's probably Comcast. We did a test, and I'm the only one who's having this problem. I just want to confirm if it's you guys or something else? It's really important this works, because this my college courses we're talking about lol. (I can use my phone for the time being).
I play League of Legends sometimes. Well last night after work, I got on just to chill out before bed, only to see that it won't connect the Chat Server/Service. And then a certificate error appears. In the details, it says the certificate I am viewing doesn't match the name of the site I am trying to view. Also, under General in the error message, it says it's issued to verifyfail.a248.e.akamai.net. Issued by: CovenantEyesProxy (51937). So I'm 85% sure it's CE.
If we can fix both, then that's great, but #1 is MY TOP PRIORITY.
P.S. Classses started today, and I have a week to finish my first set of stuff. I can use my mobile device for the time being, but it's very condensed.
Thank you. My email is email@example.com Phone: (941) 203-9715
